"Those are pearls that were his eyes:
Nothing of him that doth fade,
But doth suffer a sea change
Into something rich and strange."

The Age of Exploration may long be over, but there are many areas of this planet that have yet to be gazed upon by human eyes. The seas especially are for the most part unexplored; as much as humans know about the Earth, very little is known about the darkest depths of the oceans, lakes, and rivers. Who knows what ancient magic still thrives below the surface of a forest pond? Who knows what monsters might dwell beneath the waves?

The Aquarium is an area of the Menagerie set aside for those transformations of an aquatic nature, be they victims of a sea change, adopted children of the rivers, or anything else with fins or flippers. Remember, water can be many things, but it is seldom unchanging.
